organic extra virgin olive oil

The company OTRES d.o.o. has been involved in the production and sale of extra virgin olive oil since 2010. The family farm of the same name, in the village of Ostrovica, has a tradition of olive oil and wine production dating back to 1871. As part of revitalization, so far we have planted 1,300 olive oil trees, which we cultivate in accordance with the principles of organic farming.

In addition to the organic product certificate, we have confirmed our quality through a series of awards at international competitions both in Croatia and abroad. Notably, we won two gold medals at the 8th Olive Festival in Zagreb in 2023, as well as gold medals at the prestigious New York International Olive Oil Competition in 2023 and 2025. Since the beginning of sales, OTRES olive oil has reached customers in about 15 countries across 3 continents. The olives harvested in 2024 were processed into three different single-variety and multi-variety oils with similar characteristics, moderate fruitiness, bitterness, and spiciness, making them an optimal choice for consumption with most cold and hot dishes.

Along with organic extra virgin olive oil as our main product, we also produce and market other products in limited quantities, such as dried figs, fig jam, almonds, and various essential oils and hydrosols, through direct sale or through our partners.
